As we grow older
As we grow older

 12/04/2016

Have you noticed that we lose our joy and energy with the years passing by? Did you realise that 99% of older people are sad, bitter and/or mean? This should be considered as a very serious public health problem, yet it isn’t. Children have an incredible energy and their happiness is total. Throughout the years, they lose a good part of their energy and bliss and it’s really rare to find these qualities in adulthood. It is inversely proportional; the older one is, the less positive energy they'll have. The answer why this happens is simple: LOVE! The lack of love!

I know I speak a lot about love, but love is the only way to cure all dissatisfactions, at all levels. Love can do miracles and believe me that I know what I am saying. By other hand, the absence of love does terrible things; it transforms people into shadows and at worst it transforms people into monsters. Love seems an archaic language to use, though if everybody speak it, the world would be so much better.

So many people are always annoyed, sad, bitter, for no particular reason. You might think it’s because of their jobs, problems with money or some other issue, but I assure you it isn’t. It’s because they don’t have love in their lives; they don’t feel loved! The sad reality is that nobody loves them; no one cares about their lives and their happiness. This might have happened because they were too focused on themselves all their life and never cared about anyone (the ones who always lived by themselves or those who fled from person to person) or because they didn’t have the “luck” to find their other half (or then they found but they went away).

As the years go passing by, we become shadows of someone we used to be. Suffering always kills something inside of us; it steals our happiness and replaces it with something else not so coloured...

Consequently, when we get old, we are just a small and poor sample of someone that no longer exists. You might find unbelievable, but I only saw/met an old person who was loving and nice. Only one! The rest of people are/were mean, angry, bitter and/or sad. I am not criticizing; I just wanted to find a solution to solve this problem. Honestly speaking, I already have the answer; however, it is only a part of the solution: people have to love! When I speak about love I want to say caring about others, okay? As we are too far away from achieving this level of "perfection" (everybody caring about everybody) the solution is even further away from being succeeded. But you know what they say; if we don’t start, we will never finish! Even if you act like this your whole life, there is no guarantee that you will be loved. I wish I could give you that guarantee...

Don’t miss the heart in your life; those who missed it live infernal lives. Happiness is not about the mind and neither is love. They belong to your heart! Everything that happens, it happens in the heart.
If you are asking why I care so much about these problems, you shall start asking why you don’t. You are growing/getting older and inevitably you will be old. Probably then you will remember my words, but it will be too late. Things take its time to happen; to see the results it’s needed lots of time. From today till tomorrow no one can change mentalities...
Babies and children have love, caress, attention and everything you can think of; they are happy with little things. Adults have “so much”, but nothing. It’s missing love! If they don’t love, how could they be loved? Even if someone loves them, if they don’t have love in their hearts, they won’t feel anything... except the weight of life! Think about that, please think about that...

P.S. You might think children have love because they are funny and cute, yet you’re totally missing the point!
