You know what people say; the best poetry comes out from the deepest suffering. There is no other way which allows poets (or artists) to create art. Only then their work can become priceless and, eventually, touch people. A little bit like me and what I am doing. I am not an artist. All I am doing is trying to show you a different world, hoping you can see it through my eyes, through my perspective, even if it is only for a few seconds. 

“The perfect relationship”, I wrote. Do you believe that perfect relationships exist? I am now wondering how you are reacting to my previous question and finally got to a conclusion: No, you don’t believe! But they do exist. Not the way people think or want, but they are real and happen more times than you might think. Sometimes people don’t see, don’t listen and don’t even care. The irony is that they are looking for love and love is just so close to them, touching them, just saying "hi, am here" ... but people keep searching for it.  It’s unbelievable, right? 

The perfect relationship is a meeting of two souls, two spirits in perfect harmony. Simple as this! Yeah, I know what you are thinking.... this is too much philosophy. I can't talk about love being objective; it includes to be philosophic, emotional and sensitive. The meeting I spoke about, in the beginning, is something magical and it only happens with the right person. I can’t make you feel like this, only the right one can, your soul mate. When you are with the right person, magic things happen. They understand you so entirely that you realize they complete the sentences you started. The connection is so strong that they feel when we are down and what we need at each moment...Sometimes words are unnecessary; a look says everything. And the feeling is great, is a mix of peace and happiness; one of the best feelings you can ever feel! It’s a perfect connection; impossible to break because it's like if it was a spiritual union. This union of two souls is an invisible force vulgarly called LOVE. And that is what love is; not a meeting of two bodies, but a meeting of two souls. When this meeting happens, the relationship is perfect; it has everything to work out wonderfully. 

A body you can find easily; there are hundreds of them circulating through the streets every day, but not a soul mate. The person that completes you is only one; no one else will be compatible with you in such a complete way. Some of us never had the luck to feel such an incredible feeling. You have to agree with me, it’s not easy to find love. However, some have that luck.  If you are one of them, I really hope you can valorise the priceless thing you found. Don’t let people go away because of nonsense things. You have in your hands the most precious thing, all the rest is secondary! You may not have another chance. In fact, I believe people only have this opportunity once in their lives, but it’s only my conviction. What I know is that everyone who ignored love never found it again. They have found bodies, friends, companions, but not love.

They live their lives thinking about the past, regretting their behaviour, imagining how it would be like if they have proceeded differently. They live in pain and consequently the ones that live with them are miserable too. And I don’t want that for you. I want you to be happy, you already know that. You are afraid of being rejected? Don’t be; be afraid of wasting the only opportunity you have to be happy. If you are rejected, at least you tried. Think about it; am warning you because am your friend.

I am not saying that everything will be perfect, because it won’t, but everything will be worth it. Life is worthless without love.

Once I asked a guy whether he thought it was possible to stay in a relationship (with the same person) our entire life, with no betrayal and all kinds of falsity, without considering that as a big sacrifice. His answer, literally, was:” Without lies and betrayal, it is possible. I think in moments it is always a sacrifice, but that is why it is important to find someone with whom I want to make sacrifices”.

So, as you can clearly see, it’s perfectly possible. About the sacrifices... well, I don’t see things like him. It’s not a sacrifice to stay with the one we love; but it can be a sacrifice if one does not care with the other. The only and biggest sacrifice is to live our lives without love; it doesn’t grow in the trees, it’s really hard to find it. Plus, once you find it, you have to take good care, otherwise it will be impossible to keep it. Like you need to take care about yourself to live (eat, drink, have fun...) so love needs to be watered and fed. It is so fragile that if you don’t take good care, you will lose it. So, take a good look at the one you have beside you, the one you love, and take good care.

Love never knocks at the same door twice!
