I see humans but no humanity!

A matter of choice: I choose your happiness
A matter of choice: I choose your happiness

Is there anything better than to see people happy?

Can you compare the most beautiful thing in this world with the beauty of a smile? A smile is the purest thing you can see, it comes from the heart, from the soul, just like tears.

The last week was to forget. I can't even say which day was the worst.

In 20th, August, was the birthday of a friend of mine. I usually make her a cake. To cook is something I like, it works like a therapy for me. I am not a chef, but have no complaints till now. :-)

So, what I am trying to say is that, no matter how sad I am or how big the problems are, I am always (or almost always) available to put a smile on someone's face. It makes me really happy to see that people are happy. It's a matter of choice, I guess. Or a matter of personality. In my case, I think, is a matter of need (and choice).

I will share with you the photo of the cake I made. I didn't have a paper plate...sorry (I almost forgot her birthday because of my problems). And the presentation wasn't the best, but I assure you it was made with all the love and caress I have for her. I think it was good, I will leave the recipe here to everyone who may want it. The cake is soft, like sponge cake.

I also want to thank the friends who have supported me this last week. Thanks my friends, I wish you the best, you all know this, I am sure. And don't forget, if you can help someone, if you can make someone smile, please do me this favour. Make this world a better place for everyone. In the name of all, I say Thank you!

(In Portuguese)

Bolo de fécula de batata

Ingredientes:

8  ovos

(In English)

Cake of potato starch

Ingredients:
8 eggs
300 g of sugar (I put 250g and was pretty sweet. If the cake was for me, I wouldn't put so much sugar. I think it is at the discretion of each one)
300 g of potato starch
Lemon juice (I put vanilla aroma)
1 teaspoon baking

Preparation:
Add the egg yolks and sugar and beat until fluffy.
Beat the egg whites until stiff and add to the previous mixture.
Add the lemon juice and the potato starch. Finally, place the yeast and involve well.
Finally, place in the oven at a moderate temperature (180 degrees) for about 50 minutes.

(Filling: soft eggs and  the Cover: vanilla cream)
