If you want people to understand you, speak their language, because birds of a feather flock together.

The pen is mightier than the sword; you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink, can you?! Knowledge has bitter roots, but sweet fruits. Once you stop learning, you start dying. So many men, so many minds. Use soft words and hard arguments because, as you know, Rome wasn’t built in a day. It is better untaught than ill taught: two wrongs don’t make a right.

Never lose hope because where there is life, there is hope, nevertheless never forget this, appearances are deceiving! Laugh and the world laughs with you; weep, and you weep alone, have you heard? So, always remember: a friend in need is a friend indeed. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours, people commonly say. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you!! No man is an island. Actions speak louder than words, yet good words cost nothing, but are worth much.

The eternal paradox: hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Fortune favours the bold (someone said to me...); though a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Confusing or not to me is clear as crystal: the grass is always greener on the other side of the hill. You can’t judge a book by its cover; if you do, you shouldn’t. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Between the devil and the deep sea, the forbidden fruit is always the sweetest. Please, pay attention: honey is sweet, but the bee stings. As you sow, so you shall reap (!?). You make your bed to lie in it. People are too curious, but curiosity killed the cat.

In my opinion, the greatest wealth is contentment with little. One joy scatters a hundred griefs, though all good things must come to an end. That is why I always say that there’s no place like home (and home is where our loved ones are). It takes two to tango, nobody is happy alone! I reckon is why people always say that friendship is a plant that must often be watered... but so is love! Charity begins at home; Blood is thicker than water. Where there is a will, there is a way. Always!!!

I know, everyone can find fault, few can do better. A picture is worth a thousand words. Honesty is the best policy. Learn to walk before you run and always put your best foot forward. All is well that ends well...

Still waters run deep... this is just the tip of the iceberg...
